Pastor Bob Stahler is a lifelong resident of Cape May County, NJ. Born at Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers Point, NJ, in 1964, he grew up in Ocean City, NJ. He was raised in an evangelical, born-again Christian home where his father owned a construction business and his mom ministered solely in the home. He is a 1986 graduate of Asbury College, Wilmore, KY (Elementary Education major, Bible minor). He is a 1989 graduate of Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary of Lynchburg, VA (MA in Biblical Studies). He is actively involved with the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministries in Deptford, NJ. He has been a board member of the Atlantic City Rescue Mission for 25+ years. He leads the church to have an active role in the community in various civic events. He believes and teaches the Word of God as inerrant and authoritative, and his love is for shepherding the children of God.
Marcy Stahler, Pastor Bob's wife, was born in Ohio and grew up in WI (30 miles north of Madison, WI). Her parents were dairy farmers. The youngest daughter of six children in a committed Christian home, Marcy’s love of the Lord and music has guided her life. She attended Asbury College and Liberty University, but she sacrificed a college degree to support her husband in the church planting ministry and to start a family. Marcy is the church organist, soloist, and hostess of the church’s live radio ministry. She is currently studying to complete her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education at Grand Canyon University.
Pastor Bob and Marcy have eight adult children:
- Bethany and Larry live and teach ASL in Ohio.
- Kim is a doctoral student at Case Western University.
- Bob and Liz live in Virginia after graduation from Liberty Univ.
- Abigail and Katie live & work in Wilmington, North Carolina.
- Nate lives & works in New Jersey.
- Tom and Kristal are in college.
